Project Quality and Safety Manager/Leader

Purpose of the job :

Ensure, at site level, the management of Project Quality and Safety manager (PrQSM) teams. Anticipate resource needs and ensure consolidation of the PrQSM workload for the site on a quarterly basis. Elaborate the yearly training plan for its teams and proposes the qualifications Control the application of the Development for Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone by his team. Support the Project Team, to ensure the project Safety, Quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project (Safet yQualité Cost Delay) and be the preferable interface in the Project Team for all the métiers Quality needed for the Project (Engineering Quality EQ, Industrial Quality IQ, Sourcing Quality SQ). Monitors the Alstom Participating Units at DFQ level and measures their performance with the Project Management process correspondent Ensure, with EQ that all the REX of all the métiers have been considered in the Risks & Opportunities and closely monitor to prevent occurrence. Ensure and improve the tender quality during tender phase upon request (deliverables, resources anticipation for quality and quality tender management plan)

Network & Links Internal Project Manager, Project Team, Depots managers, RAMS teams, Reliability growth teams. Customers, Internal suppliers (PUs)

Accountabilities & Authorities : Customer Quality Be the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams Project Quality Ensure with PrQSM that safety assessment is correctly implemented ( safety review) and prepare safety authorization. Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure the proper application during contract execution in accordance to the contract requirements, and to the Alstom processes Support the project teams and PrQSM to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plans Project execution controls Ensure with PrQSM that safety assessment is correctly implemented ( safety review) and prepare safety authorization. Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits - to authorize presentation / delivery to customer Manage Non-conformities and Safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non-quality (8D, REX and standards evolution) with his (her) team. Improve the efficiency of quality teams to reduce the function costs

Job Location / Mobility :

Site/Region, with some travels and/or missions

Mandatory : Master degree in Engineering with Management background depending on the size of the project Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tool Experience on project management.

Desirable : Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset

Mandatory : Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project, Fluent in English Desirable Experience in Quality / audit

Competencies & Skills - (Technical & Behavioral) Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,.) and quality tools Experience in operational activities and in documentation management Collaboration and team working
