We are looking for a global Strategy and Insights Senior Lead for our Waters category, to join our Strategy & Insights global team. This CDI will take place in Paris (75009), in our global Headquarter.

We are offering an opportunity for an experienced market research professional to come and lead a 3-person S&I team to help shape, inspire, and impact global brand strategies, communications, activations, and innovations for some of the most iconic global and local water brands.

As Global Waters Brand Strategy & Insights lead, you will:

Lead the annual in-depth brand health diagnosis for our global brands Evian and Volvic, delivering insights to shape brand strategy and fuel growth for the short and medium-term. This will include connecting the dots from multiple sources including brand health tracking, market data on category dynamics, a variety of custom communications and concept/product research, etc. Lead the annual consolidation of high-level brand health and equity insights for all other Danone Waters brands globally, the output of which will feed into the global Stratplan process. Lead the creation of meta learning on key waters topics – . what makes winning concepts, maximizing the effectiveness of packaging. Provide insight-related content and research subject matter expertise on Brand-building related toolkits to be developed by the Marketing transformation and S&I Capabilities teams (. Brand tree, Innovation ideation, Creative/Communications development, Brand portfolio architecture). Be the Waters S&I lead representative in the Danone-wide People centricity/closeness program by ensuring participation of the broader Waters category and brand teams, and ensuring that the output is relevant and actionable for the Waters category and our brands. Lead the adoption and deployment within the Waters category of global S&I standard methodologies. Support the development of the global and country S&I teams with Evian/Volvic responsibilities – including but not limited to 1) providing guidance on research design for non-standard Evian/Volvic brand researches 2) maximizing the value of the Brand Health Trackers3) providing his/her team with opportunities to engage with Senior stakeholders4) identifying career advancement opportunities for his/her team in the medium-term.

About You

Education & professional experiences needed

Strong (7-10 years) expertise in Strategy and Insights (fluent in qual / quant / new tech methodologies), with a combination of agency and in-house (FMCG) experience, ideally within a global role.  Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Beverage company or in a Strategy consultancy company are a plus.  Fluent in English / Data fluency Experience in supporting markets outside of France Track record in driving and committing high level stakeholders into business insights Ability to coacha team on desk research and qualitative/ quantitative consumer research project management – including identifying the key business questions that research needs to answer, setting action standards, selecting methodologies, analyzing data, and preparing research summaries with conclusions and implications Excellent English written and oral communication skills is required 

Managerial competencies and personal skills needed

Ability to translate trends, consumer & market data into into clear, compelling stories that drive business action Ability to connect the dots (data points and insights) from multiple sources  Ability to show critical thinking, ask power questions and challenge constructively to bring clarity to the organization on critical business challenges Agility to navigate in a matrix and multi-cultural organization Drive, can do attitude : ability to challenge the status quo and engage stakeholders
