TheInternational Potato Center (CIP) is currently seeking a motivated anddetail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grants and Contracts Intern atour Headquarters in Lima, Peru. As a Grants and Contracts Intern, you will playa crucial role in supporting the operations of our Grants and Contractsdepartment, working closely with our Senior Manager and System Officer.
Key activities:
Support in maintaining up-to-date database and repository ofcontractual transactions in OCS ERP and/or Knowledge Management Grants &Contracts public and internal sites and PMU Project sites in coordination with Grants& Contracts System Officer.
Assist in cross-verifying grant/contract documentation forconsistency.
Support in drafting Compliance Matrix for new awards.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements, including supporttimely submission of deliverables/reports by monitoring OCS alerts incoordination with the Grants & Contracts System Officer.
Support the follow-up actions for subgrant agreements.
Assist in the subgrants close-out process.
Support the management of electronic and hard copies Grants &Contracts documentation of project files for proper record-keeping.
Support distributing contractual documents internally andexternally.
Participate in project life cycle reviews and meetings; andsupport other Grants and Contracts transactions, when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with national and international health andsafety laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Preferred previous experience (as volunteer or intern) in aninternational organization / NGOs or project-based organizations, donor-fundedprojects or in a similar position in CGIAR organizations, Research Centers, orPublic International Organizations.
Basic knowledge of Data Analytics / Management, and statistics.
Desirable knowledge of design and visual communications tools,such as Genially or Canvas, AI.
Proficient in MS Office, Office 365.
Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to work in amultidisciplinary environment and collaborate with research teams and partners.
Excellent interpersonal relationships skills and teamworkorientation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English arerequired.
Desirable French at basic / intermediate level.
