As such, the Corporate Strategy team at Bandai Namco Holdings Europe based in Lyon is looking for a strong profile to support its Sustainability commitments towards the Group, its staff, its fans, its partners, and ultimately the Planet and People.
Under the supervision of the Holding Strategy Associate Director, you will play a critical part in advancing the company's social impact and sustainability goals, requiring a dedicated and well-rounded professional with a passion for making a positive difference in the Entertainment industry.
The diversity of the assignments will require you to be able to work independently and be organized, while being able to coordinate with an array of diversified teams and report to various executive instances in order to successfully complete your tasks.
Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):
- Align Sustainability goals with Business ones to contribute to the acceleration of all initiatives in EMEA; assist teams with topic understanding, priority setting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management at each level in order to facilitate the roll-out of “positive impact” projects.
- Support the compliance to Sustainability-related regulations (CSRD, CSDDD…) by collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Legal, HR and Internal Audit teams.
- Facilitate communication and engagement with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with guidelines, goals, and projects.
- Support the definition and update of a complete GHG report across 18 European entities within our Digital, Toy & Hobby, and Amusement units, across Scope 1, 2 and 3.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and ESG consultants in gathering and tracking eligible metrics, improving their accuracy over time and ensuring the frequence at which they are being reported.
- Develop a decarbonization pathway in line with SBTi in coordination with the European Sustainability Taskforce, composed of project leads pertaining to multiple verticals such as Supply Chain, Product Design, Packaging, IT, Travels & Offices and Accessibility.
- Monitor and report on Sustainability trends (sciences & experts, competition, innovation, legal & regulatory, etc.) and conduct & formalize ad hoc studies to inform and influence key internal stakeholders.
- A Business or Engineer Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration or Social Sciences
- 4-5 years of experience in Sustainable development, preferably in a multicultural environment
- Mandatory proficiency in English
- French and Japanese are a plus
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
