We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to support the growth of development activities within Voltalia’ s international perimeter. This person will manage the Strategy and Market Intelligence team to deliver in-depth policy and market analysis, contribute towards market forecasts and develop our business strategies in key geographies. These will be the main responsibilities:
• Providing timely and relevant insights into market intelligence and policy, and translating that into useful strategy;
• Building and maintaining a regular dialogue with the Country Managers and Development teams to understand their needs and priorities;
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with national and international stakeholders and dialogue with industry groups and customers, through cooperation with Power Sales;
• Preparing written briefing notes on significant policy matters and deep dive analysis on markets or themes, and communicating conclusions;
• Identifying and analysing opportunities for medium and long-term positioning in a market;
• Defining and facilitating new country strategies, and supporting management in the execution of the agreed strategy;
• Anticipating and following up on potential grant and funding opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in Business, Political & Social Science, Engineering;
• Proven work experience as a policy and/ or market analyst;
• Proven work experience leading and managing teams;
• Strong knowledge of the renewable energy sector in Europe and Africa;
• Knowledge of broader international and trans-national trends in energy and business;
• Experience in engaging multi-disciplinary stakeholders in an international environment;
• Experience in translating policy insights into business strategy;
• Experience in communicating complex subjects in an accessible and compelling manner;
• Experience in reporting and presenting data and analysis to decision-makers;
• Excellent communication skills in English (French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus);
• This role can be based in Paris or Porto
