We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team in France. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our product portfolio within a specific region, while actively contributing to the overall strategy of the Business Unit Chemicals.
You will play a key role in both the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the product lines, while also managing and mentoring junior team members.

Your tasks:
You are responsible for a part of our liquid chemicals business in Europe. That means:
You will create and implement growth strategies tailored to both the product portfolio and the region, ensuring the ongoing success and expansion of our business. This includes modelling and monitoring the purchasing and sales activities as well as gathering market intelligence, ensuring alignment with the business strategy and financial targets. In your role, you will take charge of key accounts, including BCS/ICS/Glycols, and provide guidance to the regional sales team where necessary. Moreover, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Management team to optimize processes and ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will manage risks associated with the product portfolio, balancing business opportunities with market volatility and supply chain challenges. In parallel you will play a key role in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate financial planning and performance monitoring. In this context, you act as a networker, support the overall Business Unit Chemicals strategy, contributing to initiatives that drive the success of the business beyond your specific product linesThe development and growth of the team, by sharing your expertise and mentoring junior team members will fulfill your area of responsibilities. Here, You will functionally lead (junior) Product Managers and/or students/interns, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.Your profile:
You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or finished a comparable apprenticeship. You already gained first experience in the fields trading, procurement, marketing, distribution or sales. You have knowledge in negotiating purchase or sales contracts.You bring the proven capability to understand the resulting risks and opportunities from a portfolio of contracts. In addition, you are a flexible person who can easily adapt to a changing environment. Different stakeholders consider you as a reliable and trustworthy partner. You combine a distinct entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability in making fast decisions. You approach existing and new business contacts with an open mind. You have a team-oriented, responsible, and resilient personality. Professional English is essential and in addition to that, you are familiar with common IT applications (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP S4).
