As a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Simusion, you will be a key leader in driving the technological vision and execution of our innovative game development projects. This role is ideal for someone with a deep passion for gaming, cutting-edge technology, and a desire to shape the future of immersive experiences. As a co-founder, you will work closely with the founding team to strategize, design, and implement solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.

The Role


  • Technology Leadership:
  • Develop and drive the technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's vision.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of all game-related technologies, ensuring the highest quality and performance.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance game development and delivery.
  • Game Development:
  • Lead the development of gaming applications using Unity, Unreal Engine, and other relevant platforms.
  • Utilize advanced 3D modeling tools like 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, and Photoshop to create stunning visuals and immersive environments.
  • Implement and optimize game mechanics, physics, and AI using C#, C++, Java, Python, and machine learning techniques.
  • Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR):
  • Design and develop cutting-edge VR/AR experiences, with a focus on platforms like Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and other emerging technologies.
  • Optimize performance and user experience for VR/AR applications.
  • Team Building & Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of developers, designers, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with the CEO and other co-founders to align technical goals with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and compelling game experiences.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members and external stakeholders.
  • Product Development & Innovation:
  • Lead the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, incorporating the latest techniques and tools into the development process.
  • Quality Assurance & Optimization:
  • Implement robust testing and QA processes to ensure product stability and performance.
  • Optimize games for various platforms, ensuring smooth performance across different devices and resolutions.

Ideal Profile


  • Extensive experience in game development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling and graphic design tools like 3D Max, Maya, Blender, and Photoshop.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, C++, Java, Python, and familiarity with machine learning techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with VR/AR development, particularly with SDKs for Oculus and HTC Vive.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within constraints.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to a broad audience.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
