Missions

Ce projet (Labex EMC3, HYDROSATMET) qui s’appuie sur un développement instrumental actuellement unique au monde, propose d’explorer tout le potentiel du nouvel instrument couplant sonde atomique tomographique et microscope électronique en transmission pour la caractérisation de la distribution de l’hydrogène dans certains métaux. L’approche scientifique de ce projet est axée sur la méthodologie expérimentale davantage que sur une approche de métallurgie physique. Le/la candidat (e) recruté(e) devra réaliser des expériences sur cette nouvelle machine dans le but de corréler la distribution de l’hydrogène en lien avec les défauts structuraux présents dans divers alliages métalliques. Les systèmes étudiés seront des alliages de titane à grains ultrafins ainsi que des alliages de nickel élaborés par fabrication additive.

Activités

Le ou la recruté(e) conduira les tâches suivantes :
-Veille bibliographique sur le sujet
-Planification des expériences à réaliser
-Préparation d’échantillons par MEB/FIB
-Caractérisation des échantillons par MET/STEM, notamment au moyen de l’outil ACOM TEM
-Caractérisation par sonde atomique tomographique et MET/STEM
-Rédaction d’articles et présentation de conférences.

Compétences

-Une expertise en métallurgie physique
-Des compétences techniques solides dans l’une ou plusieurs des techniques de caractérisation parmi MEB/FIB, TEM/STEM ou APT.
-Une parfaite aisance en anglais
-De fortes capacités organisationnelles ainsi qu’une grande aptitude au travail en équipe.

Le ou la candidat (e) pourra suivre des formations en sonde atomique tomographique (école internationale annuelle organisée par le GPM, laboratoire d’accueil) et sera également formé (e) à l’utilisation des techniques MEB/FIB et TEM/STEM au moyen de formations internes.

Contexte de travail

Ce contrat s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet Labex EMC3 HydroSATMET et sera hébergé au GPM. Le GPM (Groupe de Physique des Matériaux, UMR CNRS 6634) est structuré en 5 départements : Matériaux-Vieillissement-Mécanique, Instrumentation Scientifique, Nanosciences, Systèmes Désordonnés-Polymères et Nano-Santé-Physique. Il rassemble 150 personnels dont 60 Enseignants-Chercheurs/Chercheurs, 30 ITA et 60 Doctorants/PostDoct/Stagiaires. Le laboratoire est situé sur le Campus Sciences et Ingénierie Rouen Normandie (à Rouen/Saint Etienne du Rouvray), au sein de l’Université de Rouen Normandie et de l’INSA Rouen Normandie (7000m2).
Le/la chercheur / chercheuse recruté (e) sera rattaché(e) au département Science et Mécanique des Matériaux au sein de l’équipe Microstructures.

Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.
