EFINOR INGENIERIE & PROCESS, a subsidiary of the EFINOR Group, specializes in mechanical engineering, general installation and industrial integration, offering turnkey solutions. As part of the growth of its activities, EFINOR INGENIERIE & PROCESS is recruiting an experienced General Installation Designer.
As an experienced General Installation Designer, your main tasks will be as follows:
In the costing phase :
- Research and propose technical solutions according to customer specifications,
- Preliminary CAD mock-ups,
- Predimension equipment.
In the business development phase :
- Carry out surveys on customer sites,
- If necessary, use 3D scans,
- Complete 3D modeling of equipment such as: sheet metal, boilermade tanks and pressure equipment, metal structures and frameworks, piping and its supports.
- Complete 3D modeling of skid-type solutions.
- 3D modeling of workshop and plant layouts.
- Integrate technological equipment into designs (instruments, sensors, PLCs, etc.).
- Produce drawings, bills of materials, detail drawings, bundles and associated notices,
- Take into account the regulatory and normative requirements.
A true technician at heart:
- You're comfortable and technically inclined: you've got good experience in the field of general installation, and you're familiar with industry standards. Knowledge of DESP, ASME and CODAP standards is highly appreciated.
- You will be responsible for most of the technical aspects of the projects entrusted to you, working under the supervision of the General Installation Design Manager and in conjunction with the project managers.
- Rigorous, committed and pragmatic with a strong taste for the field, you know how to manage your files with rigor and autonomy.
- Ideally, you are familiar with SolidWorks. Skills in other CAD software are appreciated (Inventor, Creo, Catia V5, Autocad2D...).
The expected profile is as follows:
- Trained to Bac+2 or Bac+3 in mechanics or equivalent, you have at least ten years' experience enabling you to successfully carry out the missions entrusted to you. Bac+5 profiles with a minimum of 5 years' experience are also considered.
The position of experienced General Installation Designer is full-time and open-ended, and is located in Toul, near Nancy, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department (54).
You will be able to carry out these missions in our engineering department or in technical assistance at our customers' sites, depending on the case. Mainly in the North-East quarter: automotive, energy, steel, oil & gas, chemicals.
