Catalina France is seeking an experienced and client-focused Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented engineering team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools, including a Java/Angular-based campaign management platform and Salesforce CRM initiatives. This includes overseeing the integration of Java with the Quarkus framework, Angular front-end development, PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will excel in full-stack development, thought leadership, and agile methodologies.

Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing global engineering team working on the Java/Angular UI platform, providing leadership, motivation, and technical guidance and overseeing recruitment and selection processes in both France and India to support team growth and ensure seamless collaboration and productivity.
Ensure seamless global collaboration, coordinating and communicating effectively with global support centers in India, other EU offices, and the USA office to maintain development progress and quality.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing processes to measure and enhance team capacity and velocity, ensuring the agile development team meets project throughput goals.
Engage in technical discussions on APIs and tools with external clients and partners, ensuring effective communication and integration of customer data.
Act as an independent contributor, engaging in Java and Angular full-stack development to support project goals and maintain high technical standards.
Transition from legacy systems to the new platform, overseeing the migration of data and features from the legacy system to the new campaign management platform, enabling consultants to set up and execute marketing campaigns.
Implement robust documentation practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation of the platform's data models, architectures, and codebases to facilitate ongoing development and troubleshooting.
Oversee Salesforce CRM development, providing leadership and direction for Salesforce development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
Integrate Salesforce with the campaign management platform, ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce CRM and the new platform, leveraging Apex to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
Maintain high project delivery standards, manage the delivery of Salesforce projects, balance the campaign management platform and Salesforce needs, and ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Support and prioritize Salesforce developer tasks, guiding the Salesforce developer in prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions that align with overall project goals.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
~10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams.
~ Proven Java and Angular full-stack development expertise, with hands-on experience using the Quarkus (or equivalent) framework.
~ Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on building responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
~ Strong database experience, including PostgreSQL and Snowflake, and cloud services like Microsoft Azure.
~ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and management.
~ Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly git, and experience implementing best practices for collaboration and code management.
~ Experience in recruitment and team management, particularly in an international context involving both France and India.
~ Strong background in agile methodologies, including implementing processes to enhance team capacity and velocity.
~ Proven ability to manage the transition from legacy systems to new platforms, including data migration and feature development.
~ Familiarity with Salesforce CRM development, including Apex, and integrating CRM systems with other platforms.
~ Fluency in English and proficiency in French are essential, as the role involves significant interaction with teams and clients in both languages.
