We are recruiting dynamic, passionate, self-motivated and adventurous candidates to gather first-hand information on energy markets and players and promote The Energy Year ’s flagship products on all continents and are offering attractive entry-level compensation packages, with fast career growth opportunities.

The international journalist and market analyst position consists of overseas posting throughout the year in the many markets The Energy Year is established in. The journalists are tasked with meeting and interviewing C-class business executives, attending leading energy events and gathering in-depth information on national energy trends, companies and business environments.

A BA/BSc or MA/MSc degree backed by sound knowledge of international relations, economics, journalism, marketing or communications. Excellent communication skills and a proven adaptability to a global environment with a curious mind
• Team-playing abilities and strong social skills
• One to three years of relevant work experience, although new graduates will be considered
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English with a second language (preferably Spanish, Portuguese or French) being an advantage
• Scheduling and conducting interviews with senior energy executives globally
• Analysing industry data and profiling market players
• Attending exhibitions, conferences and other PR and networking activities
