JLE recruits an ASSISTANT TRANSPORT MANAGER to support an international team in handling a fleet’s logistics for a Major Sponsor for the Paris Olympics 2024. JLE France is a staffing agency specialised in international major sports events providing premium operation staff around the world since 2015.
Responsibilities:
- Offer operational and administrative support to the Transport Manager
- Assistance in preparation and updates of operations manual and routes preparation for the drivers
- Control of Arrivals and Departures
- Daily control of vehicle readiness and routes
- Assistance of daily reconciliation of the extra hours of vehicles working
- Assisting with ad hoc transport needs organization (additional transfers, taxi usage etc.)
- Understand daily route closures and develop routes daily to avoid road closures
- Inspection of drop-off zones within venues and other parking locations
- Assistance in developing training program for drivers
- Assist in the development of the backup public transport plan
Profile:
Ability to handle pressure and short deadlines
Must be comfortable with last min changes
Event transport experience (min +2yrs with international events)
Great communication skills
Organised
Autonomous
Ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent relationship-building skills
FLUENT in French and English (written and spoken)
Sport afficionado (a bonus)
