CryptoNext Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Engineering to grow and structure the R&D team, and to manage the execution of CryptoNext's products roadmap.
Working within CryptoNext R&D, the Head of Engineering will be in charge of the teams developing all the products in the range, from the design phase through to maintenance aspects. He/she is responsible for the technical roadmap, and must have skills in cryptography, embedded systems and application software architecture, enabling him/her to decide on technological and architectural choices. He/she is the guarantor of commitments made for all technical aspects with regard to roadmap compliance and the quality of delivered products.
Principal duties and responsibilities
The Head of Engineering is responsible for:
- Define the technical architecture of the product, anticipating short- and long-term technical developments;
- Implement tools and methodologies to achieve high levels of security certification;
- Work in coordination with the product line on the strategic product vision;
- Work with customer support to meet the challenges of customer satisfaction;
- Participate in the search for financing;
- Participate in setting up technological partnerships;
- Manage product life cycles;
- Coordinate and manage the R&D team;
- Report to the line management on R&D commitments.
The head of Engineering reports to the CTO.
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent (IT, Cybersecurity).
- Professional experience : 10+years of experience with at least 5 years' successful experience in managing a multidisciplinary R&D team.
- Interpersonal skills : Ability to analyze and synthesize, persuasiveness, multidisciplinary teamwork, stress management, communicative, innovative; ability to make decisions.
- Language : Excellent French & English communication both oral & writing skills. Ability to manage a team in the French & English.
Terms of employment
- Based in Paris.
- Occasional need to travel in France, Europe and International based on project needs.
- Full time position
- Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.
