Role Profile

Our Paris design team is urgently looking to bring on 3 talented Senior Technical Designers for a 6-month period to support on a brand new project. We're looking for candidates who can lead on design projects, take great pride in their work, and appreciate technical design is about enabling the creation of great workspaces. You'll need multiple projects under your belt, ideally in the technical design of MEP requirements across a site.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Technical design of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing plans (MEP) across multiple projects.
  • Experience working on larger site areas >10,000sqm.
  • Working in close collaboration with other designers to deliver a coherent design across both larger individual sites, and smaller sites included in the same project.
  • Working closely with the clients internal teams to understand their needs and translating this directly into tangible plans and designs.
  • Collaborating with the Design Director and all members of the Unispace team to ensure that our powerful methodology is delivered throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Working hand-in-hand with delivery to ensure that plans are able to be brought to life, while still considering building codes and regulations.
  • Implementing design best standards/practices, processes and technology solutions within the studio, to enhance Unispace’s capability and effectiveness.
  • Identifying and reporting risks to your Design Director, where relevant, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practices.

About you

We expect that you’ll be degree qualified in a relevant design principle, or have equivalent professional experience. You’ll need to be technically focused and be able to deliver realistic and intuitive designs that are well documented and compliant. You’ll also need top-tier communication skills to be able to extract crucial information and insights from clients when needed.
