About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Architect to join our IPP team. As a Technical Sales Architect, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor for our customers, driving the sales of HCLSoftware's Workload Automation, DevOps, and Mainframe solutions. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and collaborating with sales teams to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Revenue: Actively pursue new license revenue opportunities by collaborating with Client Directors, Business Partners, and Territory Managers.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical knowledge of HCLSoftware's Workload Automation, DevOps, and Mainframe offerings, with a focus on Control-M, CA7, Autosys, and related solutions.
  • Solution Development: Define and architect comprehensive solutions that address customer challenges and align with their business objectives.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, providing technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and workshops to showcase the value of HCLSoftware solutions.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends in the Workload Automation and DevOps domains.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key customer stakeholders and Business Partners.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Development, Support, and Customer Advocacy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or solution architect role within the enterprise software industry, with a focus on Workload Automation and DevOps solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of scheduling and automation solutions (Control-M, CA7, Autosys, Automic, IBM Workload Automation) and DevOps principles. Experience with ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of licensing, entitlements, and pricing models to effectively position HCLSoftware solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Travel: 50%++ travel required
