The objective of the Yacht Accountant is to manage a portfolio of yacht management clients, providing detailed monthly accounts, monthly budgeting and assisting the captain with the financial operations of the yacht.
Main Accountabilities and Duties:
- Provide accurate accounts (numerically & categorised) to the owner.
- Arrange timely payment of invoices.
- Communicate effectively with the captain and owner.
- Provide detailed fund requests to the owner.
- Arrange timely payment of crew salaries.
- Point of contact for owners / reps & captains on all financial matters.
- Issuing monthly fund requests to owners / reps for forthcoming expenses.
- Arranging payments on behalf of the yacht.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding invoicing to the yachts.
- Liaising with the captain to ensure that they have sufficient cash / debit card funds to operate the yacht.
- Provide detailed monthly accounts to the owner / rep.
- Be available to answer any financial queries from the owner’s office.
