Location
This role requires flexibility to travel 20% of the year and for the remaining 80% work in the hybrid model from Evreux.
About the role
As an Installation & Commissioning Coordinator, you will be responsible for positively impacting the Project Delivery results and the overall success of the I&C function in your region. This role provides leadership and accountability for regional installation and commissioning within the Flow Food and Beverage end market related to the Project Execution function. The Bid Process Owner and the Project Manager are the main internal customers, respectively, during the bid and execution phases. You will liaise with your counterparts, mainly from Engineering and Automation functions in the region, according to the delegations given by the I&C Office Manager.
About your responsibilities at SPX Flow
- Project cost assessment regarding your function’s deliverables (such as skidded units and pre-assembled elements; Site set-up; Handling and lifting; Site mechanical installation; Site Management; Process Commissioning).
- Assessment of the duration of these tasks and creation of the I&C plan.
- During the execution phase, being responsible for the preparation of SPX Flow suppliers’ tender documentation; Suppliers’ bid analysis; Operations follow-up (quality, costs and level of completion); Creation of the EHS plan and its implementation on customers' site.
- Outside of the frame of projects, you will support The Supply Chain regarding the administration of the I&C’s suppliers and your manager regarding the evolution of the I&C’s internal KPIs.
About you
Experience and knowledge:
- Advanced English skills and communicative French.
- Graduated in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or in Mechanical installation supervision and/or Site Management
- Basic knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
- Familiar with the technical documentation in relation to process engineering (P&IDs and layouts)
- Very good knowledge of mechanical construction and installation of process plants, especially in the food and/or beverage industry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation/control equipment installation as well as commissioning requirements.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, & Environmental hazard control during Installation.
- Expertise in leading third parties, aligning and resourcing site installation activities to meet the scale & scope of supply.
Soft skills:
- Ability to work across a matrix organisation to ensure that lines of communication are open and tie into the rest of the organisation functionally.
- Ability to identify “what good looks like” to develop and maintain processes to execute the plan
- Knowledge of large-scale, multi-function, multi-country and multi-site project delivery
- Able to engage diplomatically with excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organisation and externally.
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle complexity and multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
