About the Company:

A pharmacology firm situated in the greater Marseille area, offering contract research organization (CRO) services to pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and startups both domestically and internationally. This company specializes in preclinical in vivo studies and research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and ALS. The team is young and dynamic, predominantly made up of scientists.

About the Role:

In support of expanding its operations, the company is seeking a Senior Scientist to join their scientific team. The Senior Scientist will engage in both client and in-house R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying client requirements.
  • Help draft financial protocols, design studies, deliver results, and prepare reports.
  • Oversee client studies and ensure smooth management.
  • Conduct statistical analyses of research findings, create graphical representations and scientific presentations, and ensure adherence to experimental protocols.
  • Author research reports, posters, and articles.
  • Prepare and submit documents to the local ethics committee.
  • Develop and implement internal laboratory procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • A PhD in pharmacology with extensive experience in neurodegeneration and management is preferred.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A high level of scientific rigor, motivation, and energy.
  • Ability to thrive in a small team environment and work collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
