XPR-IT is an Information Technology Executive Search Consultancy that specialized for 20 years in finding and placing innovative talents.

We are looking for an infrastructure engineer to join a dynamic start-up in technological innovation (electronics), notably involved in the Defense and Telco sectors.

The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in the hands-on support and maintenance of their IT systems.

Interacting across all departments, the Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in swiftly resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting the organization's commitment to technological innovation and excellence.

Travel within France once a month may be required.

Bilingual French and English is mandatory.

Package : 40 to 48K€

Level of experience : 1 to 3 years (including apprenticeship/internship)

Work description

  • Manage Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Administer and secure Linux-based servers within an on-premise network.
  • Configure and maintain virtual machines using VMware.
  • Provide efficient tier-one technical support to end-users.
  • Utilize ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
  • Offer remote assistance for users.
  • Implement and adhere to security best practices.
  • Scripting for task automation to streamline operational processes.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users and team members.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports on key metrics.

Overall, we are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn; it is not necessary to master all the tasks required.

We are seeking a generalist profile who ideally has experience in one or more of the following subjects:

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Linux server management.
  • Virtualization (VMware).
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Implement and maintain security best practices.
  • Scripting for task automation.
  • Provide tier-one support.
  • Ticketing system proficiency.
  • Remote support experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Document procedures and configurations.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive issue identification.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports.
