Our Network Edge team plays a pivotal role by establishing essential connectivity among our data centers and Internet/Cloud providers. We engineer and manage the backbone network that guarantees smooth data transmission, enabling our platform to thrive globally.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to enhancing the reliability, performance, and optimization of our Network Edge infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity between data centers and the external world.
Drive traffic engineering initiatives to optimize network performance and efficiency.
Oversee FinOps practices related to connectivity, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising performance.
Implement and maintain our internal SD-WAN solution written in Golang, based on Wireguard and BGP EVPN, establishing a distributed, secure, and autonomous mesh for WAN connectivity.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our event-driven automation stack based on Salt and Netbox, written in Python.
Develop and implement solutions to harden the security of our infrastructure's edge.
Provide expertise in optimizing system reliability, focusing on SRE principles and practices.
Promote the adoption of open-source network solutions and actively contribute to the community.
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with a keen interest in Network Edge connectivity and traffic engineering.
Adept in Golang for developing robust and scalable solutions.
Demonstrated commitment to ensuring the reliability, automation, and documentation of complex systems.
Ownership mindset, proactive initiative, and effective collaboration skills.
Adaptability to thrive in an Agile environment with a strong DevOps culture.
Strong communication skills in English.
