The Role / Responsibilities:
The Moody's Analytics' RFS Banking EA Delivery Services department is looking for an intern for at minimum a six month internship.
The RFS Banking EA Delivery Services team is responsible for supporting our clients to implement the Moody's Analytics Risk Foundation and Banking Cloud suite of enterprise solutions to their requirements. To this end, we provide a combination of Solution, business domain & project management competency to our clients' stated objectives at various stages of the entreprise solution lifecycle ( project ).
For our solutions, MA consultants assist our clients to identify optimal implementation paths in a standardised and consistent manner, based on an in-house methodologies RCO-Fit (for ALM and Regulatory Liquidity) and BC-Fit (for Regulatory Credit).
Objective of internship: After a training on our solutions (BankingCloud and/or RCOFit+)
- Produce or Update documentation on sample deals to be used
- Describe the dealc characteristics and the associated solution data mapping
- Explain the expected results in regards of the different indicators
- For Regulatory Liquidity: cash flows, outflow rate, inflow rates, ratios etc
- For Regulatory Credit: rwa, ead, ccf, pd, lgd
- Data lineage from input to regulatory reports
- For Regulatory Liquidity: LCR, NSFR, ALMM, Asset Encumbrance
- For Regulatory Credit: COREP OF, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposure etc
- Define Excel template(s) which may serve to add new deals/scenarios/Behaviors to the relevant library
Duration - 6 months
The internship will provide the intern with a keener understanding of Regulatory Liquidity and/or Credit analytics and related data requirements, as well as exposure to general industry practices related to risk management systems.
Required Qualifications (example below):
- Studying towards or recently completed Master's level
- Business degree with technical IT / coding (simply SQL) proficiency, or
- Computer science or Engineering degree with Finance option.
- Analytical mindset, with a keen sense of data and ease with data manipulation techniques & tools (Excel, Access, )
- General understanding of IT services, project / program management concepts
- Languages: Fluent English; French a plus
- Comfortable with general professional productivity software (MS-Office, Outlook, )
