As a Quality Assurance Engineer your responsibility is to ensure that the development of software meets quality standards of safety and reliability, mitigating the risk of accidents due to software failures. The scope covers on-board software, system software as well ground equipment software.
You need to have a deep understanding of the DO-178 standard, focusing on compliance throughout the project development phase.
Your role is key in early bug detection and error prevention to minimize the likelihood of failure.
By following processes you contribute to enhancing the safety and quality of our helicopter's development.

Your challenge
What type of work you will be doing?
In this role you will follow the development of civil and military software with stakeholders, bringing communication between different departments and external authorities. You will directly interact and collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Innovation, Quality, Manufacturing, as well as with our suppliers.
Main tasks:
Develop a Software Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
Prepare and participate to software engineering design review's, ensuring compliance with the relevant software plan's.
Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiency
Collaborate and interact with various departments and organizations, in particular with Helicopter Programs and certification teams.
Your profile
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
Solid knowledge and experience with the DO-178 standards
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
Good project management and experience in design reviews
Good knowledge in software development processes (V model)
Knowledge of configuration management principle
Understanding of software criticality levels - Design Assurance Level (DAL)
Good stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to work in international context with strong networking skills
French and English: Negotiation level
