Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to solve the highly technical challenges surrounding the capture and transmission of biomedical data within the healthcare industry.

You are responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and testing features needed by Philips Capsule drivers and products using modern C++.

  • Participating in technical choices related to the architecture of the solution.

  • Enhancing processes to improve the quality, safety, and security of our products.

  • Contributing to frameworks and tools creation, development, and maintenance.

  • Maintaining the build system and CI/CD pipelines of the team.

  • Writing technical documentation related to your work.

 

You are a part of the Connectivity and Data Integration (C&DI) group in a team composed of architects, system, software development, and test engineers. Based in Paris (remote 3days/week), you are collaborating with other teams of the C&DI group spread over 4 countries to provide them with the frameworks and tools necessary to produce Philips Capsule drivers communicating with third party medical devices. Interacting with other teams in the Philips Capsule business, you will enhance the data processing and integration features of the Philips Capsule product.

 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Computer Science background, or equivalent experience.

  • Significant C++ development practice ideally with C++17 or above.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate easily in written and spoken English.

 

And preferably, you have experience in:

  • Software craftmanship (build system, package management, CI/CD pipeline, unit tests).

  • Knowledge of the C# and/or Kotlin languages used in our group for tools.

  • Medical software development.

Dans ce rôle, vous avez l'opportunité de résoudre les défis hautement techniques liés à la capture et à la transmission de données biomédicales dans l'industrie des soins de santé.

Vous êtes responsable de :

  • Concevoir, implémenter et tester les fonctionnalités requises par les pilotes et les produits Philips Capsule en utilisant le langage C++.
  • Participer aux choix techniques liés à l'architecture de la solution.
  • Améliorer les processus pour augmenter la qualité, la sécurité et la sûreté de nos produits.
  • Contribuer à la création, au développement et à la maintenance de frameworks et d'outils.
  • Maintenir le système dâintégration continue (CI/CD) de l'équipe.
  • Rédiger la documentation technique liée à votre travail.

Vous êtes membre du groupe Connectivity and Data Integration (C&DI) au sein d'une équipe composée d'architectes, d'ingénieurs système, de développeurs logiciel et dâingénieurs de test. Basé à Paris (3 jours/semaine en télétravail), vous collaborez avec d'autres équipes du groupe C&DI réparties dans 4 pays pour leur fournir les frameworks et outils nécessaires pour produire des pilotes Philips Capsule communiquant avec des dispositifs médicaux tiers. En interagissant avec d'autres équipes de l'activité Philips Capsule, vous améliorez les fonctionnalités de traitement et d'intégration de données du produit Philips Capsule.

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous devez avoir les compétences et l'expérience suivantes :

  • Formation initiale en informatique, ou expérience équivalente.
  • Pratique significative du développement logiciel en C++, idéalement avec C++17 ou supérieur.
  • Connaissance des environnements Windows et Linux.
  • Autonomie, débrouillardise, compétences en communication.
  • Capacité à communiquer facilement en anglais écrit et parlé.

Et de préférence, vous avez de l'expérience dans :

  • Les systèmes de compilation, de gestion de paquets, de pipeline CI/CD, de tests unitaires.
  • La connaissance des langages C# et/ou Kotlin utilisés dans notre groupe pour les outils.
  • Le développement de logiciels médicaux.
