Scope 

 

Being part of the Point Of Sale terminals R&D, you will be the owner of the electronical architecture of the device, meaning:

  • Pre study, design and qualification of the new devices
  • Maintenance & evolution for the existing devices

 

Key responsibilities 

 

  • Keep compliant with the schedule to which the project team is committed.
  • Support the project team in costing and planning the electronics part of the project.
  • Report on work performed, communicate, exchange, and take into account work progress within a multi-disciplinary team: project manager, mechanical engineer, software engineer, industrialization engineer, buyer, etc.
  • Design analog / digital electronic boards:
    • Definition of electronic boards architecture according to the product specifications
    • Evaluation and simulation of integrated functions
    • Components selection
    • Schematic design and layout follow-up
    • Definition and validation of manufacturing files (bill of material, ...).
    • Definition of electronic qualification plan
    • Set up prototypes and carry out qualification tests
    • Qualification reports, evaluate and decide on results
    • Technical support for certification teams (EMC, Safety...)
    • Support for electronic board industrialization
    • Analysis of field feedback during the roll out
  • Maintain product ranges:
    • By supporting industrialization and or quality to find out field issues or production deviation with action plan management to enhance the design or fix issues.
    • By customizing definition by adding other features in existing devices ranges.
    • By enlarging components source base with multi alternative source electronical qualification

 

Profile 

 

You are an electronical / generalist Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in IoT or large production electronic devices design and you speak both French and English at a good level. 

 

Important technical skills : 

  • Project management proficiency
  • Analog electronic proficiency (PMIC, DC-DC, LDO,..) and digital (CPU, DDR & NAND memories, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C,..)
  • IoT connectivity (RF Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID,...)
  • PCI and other payment business constraints knowledge
  • Schematic tools (Zuken, Cadence)
  • Test means (Oscilloscope, spectrum analysis, …)
  • Simulation (HyperLynx)
  • Atlassian tools (JIRA)
