BIOS / UEFI Engineer Join a pioneering company specialising in high-performance computing, notably known for developing Rhea, a leading energy-efficient microprocessor. Engineered for seamless collaboration with third-party accelerators like GPU, AI, and quantum technologies, 'Rhea' addresses significant challenges in medical research, artificial intelligence, security, and energy management. Following a successful Series A funding you will be joining the company at a promising time of growth as they are set to recruit 150 engineers by the end of 2024. Location- Grenoble / Sophia Antipolis BIOS / UEFI Engineer ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other Research and Development teams in the development and delivery of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface(UEFI) BIOS, incorporating the design of novel product features.Create of high-level design documents and scope requirements, culminating in detailed specifications.Contribute to the development of both unit tests and validation testBIOS / UEFI Engineer Responsibilities BackgroundExperience in UEFI development (UEFI coding and debugging experience)Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python and other programming languagesGood knowledge of industry standards, such as UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI...
