Senior Scientist – Tibco EBX Expert France / Paris This position is within the Master Data Management team, responsible for supporting MDM strategies aligned with the AXA XL vision. As a Senior Scientist, your expertise in EBX MDM will be crucial for implementing Master Data Management across various projects and business as usual activities. You will focus on EBX design and implementation for different IDA MDM projects covering reference data management, client & brokers' data, and location data domains. Explore Your Opportunity What will be your main responsibilities?
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - take the lead in defining and clarifying requirements.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and estimate the complexity of business requirements.
  • Assist customers and stakeholders in demand generation.
  • Support the Location MDM delivery team in design, development, user training, and operations using the EBX tool.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Team Leader.
  • Maintain close communication with the Team Leader regarding any business issues.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and project sponsors to understand their needs in the Master Data Management domain and offer solutions to business challenges.
  • Ensure strict adherence to defined Service Level Agreements - productivity, turnaround time, and accuracy.
Main tasks include:
  • Design, build, test, and provide user training for MDM projects and BAU changes.
  • Communicate with the business customer community.
  • Translate business requests into EBX processes.
  • Support MDM user training.
  • Monitor data quality.
  • Support business processes across all segments.
You will report to the Team Lead. Your Profile Unleash Your Talent We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications and skills:
  • University graduate with 7-10 years of experience in MDM processes, data analysis, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Extensive experience in MDM Design & Development using Tibco EBX tool.
  • Proficiency in MDM implementation processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with Tibco EBX MDM tool.
  • Strong experience in EBX design and Match & Merge process implementation.
  • Knowledge of Java & J2EE, SQL Server, HTML, Java Script, CSS, jQuery / Angular JS, Testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 and newer) and TSQL development.
  • Sound understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational database concepts.
  • Knowledge of REST API, Web Services, XML, SOAP, integration middleware like MuleSoft, etc.
  • Understanding of Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere build processes.
  • Understanding of the Insurance Industry and Party Data.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Client-centric approach and experience.
  • High level of data input accuracy.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
