If you are interested in working in this kind of innovative environment and you're a motivated Quality Assurance Engineer, then we have an excellent role within our Nantes Development site for our Geospatial business.

Our Geospatial team is recruiting for a brand new Quality Assurance role to support our geospatial product range development.

As our QA Engineer you will you will define and execute the test strategy to validate the new surveying products being developed by Trimble.

Working with our team of Design Engineers on electronic and software testing. You will provide internal stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve the user's experience.

Reporting into our Engineering Director but working in a matrix structure you will work across different functions not just within QA, you'll work very closely with our product Development team as well as Electronic and Software Engineers.

What You Will Do:
Sets component/system dependability criteria aligned with company, consumer, and regulatory requirements
Pioneers rapid issue-detection methods for emerging products, processes, and reliability
Provides guidance on component/system adaptations and formulation improvements
Suggests design/formula modifications to enhance process and system reliability
Identify problems and opportunities for improvements that are common across many teams and services
Fluent in French and English.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Problem-solving and time management skills
Having a flexible approach to working in a changing environment
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Writing test procedures and test plans
A relevant qualification in Land Surveying (in particular, experience in optical instruments and GNSS receivers)

Desired Skills:
Knowledge in 3D scanners
