ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Vitry is looking for a
Buyer (M/F). The position is based in Vitry.

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Vitry is an automotive component tier 1 producer, part of the ArcelorMittal Group, producing crash management components and chassis parts.

Dealing directly with the car makers, we co-design the sub-components with our customers. We are involved in the development of the next generations of EV platforms. We are part of the current car industry revolution and the shift towards electrification.

With its 140 employees, R&D capacity, forming and welding facilities, ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Vitry is a major supplier of high-added value components for the automotive industry.

As
Buyer , your
main responsibilities and missions will be:

• Lead the development and execution of strategies for all assigned categories
• In line with strategic objectives, lead the negotiations to select, appoint and steer a supply base that makes the company objectives progress on quality, cost, delivery and innovation
• Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements for sourcing objectives
• Evaluate competitive offers and present sourcing options that meet requirements
• Ensure all selected suppliers are compliant to service level agreements
• Lead the supplier spend management activities in accordance with objectives
• Conduct in depth cost and spend analysis to develop cost savings initiatives
• Carry out administrative responsibilities and contracting activities
• Lead and expedite vendor selection and purchasing decisions through appropriate competitive bid and strategic sourcing processes (leverage practices, bundling tools, etc.)
• Achieve all cost reduction savings targets
• Monitor, manage and report on achievements on key purchasing indicators in line with department

requirements

• Immediately respond to unforeseen supply failures, working with manufacturing and supplier to avoid supply chain interruptions
• Identify industry trends and market development for respective categories

Background and skills required

• Bachelor's Degree in business, Engineering or equivalent
• 2/3 years buying experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of RFI/RFQ sourcing process
• Ability to understand value streams, cost drivers and how to break down cost structures
• Ability to understand and develop legal contracts
• Results driven, selfstarter, problem solver with proven ability to drive projects to a successful conclusion
• Team oriented and excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products, particularly in Excel
