WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT

We're looking for passionate and business oriented developers willing to help us raise our bar; code lovers who are experienced enough to know that for any given technical solution the execution is a key factor for success.

Requirements WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE TO FIT THE ROLE

Must:
Clear understanding of fundamental computer science and software engineering concepts (e.g. design patterns, algorithms, SOLID and KISS principles, scalability patterns)
Extensive expertise of OOP in a Java 1.8 or later environment
Hands-on with Spring Framework (JPA, Messaging, Restful, etc)
Experience with third-parties systems integration and asynchronous jobs
Experience with large domain models and complex distributed systems (components, SOA)
Expertise with relational databases (MySQL) and ORM (Hibernate and Gorm)

Great team player, able to perform with little or no supervision, always willing to contribute and add value where possible.

Familiar with continuous delivery and with the principles of "you build it, you run it"
Good spoken and written level of English

Extras:
Knowledge of unit and functional testing and experience with TDD (JUnit and Spock)
Deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices such as peer review, pair programming
Knowledge on AWS, Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with NoSQL databases, eg. MongoDB

Nice to have:
Grails framework knowledge
Frontend JS and CSS knowledge , React)
DDD and/or BDD experience
Familiar with Grafana (ability to build dashboards and panels) What you will do Ship maintainable, robust and tested code in production
Collaborate with POs and other devs to deliver value incrementally but constantly
Understand our business needs to make sure you're addressing them properly
Liaise with the QA Engineers to test the user stories
Identify and implement the best architectural solutions collaborating with the architects
Help improving our way of working based on continuous improvement
Speak and write in terms that non-technical people understand. Clear communication is super important in our environment
