What you will do:


As the Delivery Manager for EDP Energie France you will lead our solar self-consumption projects end-to-end and be responsible to set up our operations from scratch in France on this vertical, ensuring the delivery of the business targets.

You will coordinate with the local partners and subcontractors the execution of the works.

These functions involve the performance of highly complex and heterogeneous technical tasks, including the engineering of the presales offers, the negotiation of the technical and economic specificities of the product and leading the projects execution, among others.

This position will have a direct report to the Country Manager or Regional Manager and requires a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility.

Integrated into our dedicated team for France, the main functions will be:

Lead the project execution of the solar power plants, managing work of the external providers in charge of the development and the construction of the project and ensuring the respect of the contractual deadlines and technical requirements.

Manage suppliers and installers in the coordination and implementation of works, guaranteeing the competitiveness and quality of the services provided.

Qualify business opportunities according to their technical, financial and contractual feasibility.

Carry out technical visits to Clients with the aim of evaluating and identifying opportunities for sales of energy services in coordination with the Client Managers.

Provide technical support in building commercial offers

Coordinate, supervise and negotiate opportunities with the network of suppliers and installers, through the discussion of technical solutions for photovoltaic installations.

Coordinate with the asset management team for the monitoring of the assets in operation and ensure the correct O&M and billing operation of the providers.

Support on the identification of regulatory requirements in France and updating of technical specifications and offers to ensure compliance.

Ensure personal safety and that of third parties by complying with and enforcing regulations on occupational risk prevention.

What are we looking for:
University training in engineering. Electrical Specialty or equivalent preferred;
Minimum experience of 7 years in electrical projects: photovoltaic installations, preferably industrial self-consumption installations or large-scale generation installations, electrical substations, transformer substations, high, medium and low voltage power grids and lighting;
Experience in leading internal of external (subcontractors) teams in the execution of technical projects;
Knowledge of the French electricity sector and current legislation on self-consumption and electrical installations;
Microsoft office power user (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Onenote);
Commercial ability to present and discuss offers with End Customers;
Availability to travel frequently within France.

The following will be valued:
Knowledge of tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, Helios 3D;

Knowledge in energy efficiency:
experience in the analysis of investment projects, negotiation of contracts and/or carrying out energy studies;
Working proficiency in French.

The position requires internal/external customer orientation of a technical-commercial nature, as well as the coordination of a wide network of external partners.
