SCOPE
We are seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to oversee a direct spend exceeding €100 million, leading the Capex & MRO categories.
As part of the global Indirects Procurement team, you will collaborate across LACTALIS's diverse business divisions, spearheading strategic projects to enhance quality, service, costs, innovation, and cash performance.
Your MISSION & CHALLENGES
As a Global Sourcing Manager, you will:
- Establish and implement global sourcing strategies, driving category transformation projects.
- Acquire expertise in market analysis, spend analysis, TCO, cost models, and internal needs related to your categories.
- Directly lead a team member for additional global categories ownership (MRO).
- Supervise a functional network of 15+ regional/local buyers.
- Ensure supply coverage with regional/local procurement teams.
- Take responsibility for supplier selection & development, negotiate agreements, and enhance supplier performance.
- Contribute to LACTALIS's sustainable roadmap and leverage supplier capabilities for long-term growth.
- Manage the purchasing budget, identifying risks and opportunities to support the company's rapid expansion.
This role involves frequent international travel (10-30% of the time).
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US?
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, particularly in capex/industrial settings within an international context.
- Strong communication skills and leadership potential with a strategic outlook.
- Natural connector who can establish networks to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to prioritize, think critically, and act pragmatically.
- Tenacious individual with adaptability and relationship-building skills to establish credibility and effective networks.
- Experience in professional sourcing or relevant education in purchasing.
- Focus on delivering value in categories, understanding FMCG markets globally.
