ProductLife Group is looking for an IS Transition & integration Manager y ou will work with the IT teams and multiple business departments within PLG to ensure that new and changing Information systems Applications are successfully transitioned and integrated in line with key deliverables.
The primary role of a transition manager is to handle requests for change through collection and assessment. As a transition manager you take responsibility to plan and oversee the transfer of relevant information for solution support, acceptance, and operation. You develop transition plans such for application, infrastructure support models and integration projects linked to newly implemented systems or processes into the existing infrastructure and to acquisitions of new companies. In your role, you are the liaison between project managers,business owners and the ICT technical engineers.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinating any major IS transitions within the company, such as technological, operational, and affiliate integrations Collaborating with project stakeholders and senior management to develop a comprehensive transition and integration plan to outline project expectations, scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Ensuring that transitions are planned and carried out in a timely manner and within budget. Identifying potential risks and challenges during the transition phase, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may arise and implement appropriate contingency plans. Developing and implementing change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new systems or processes. Supporting employees affected by the transition to ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruption. Establishing performance metrics and tracking the progress of the transition and integration process. Regularly report on key milestones,risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders and senior management. Actively driving the IS transition/integration process & project and acting as point of IT contact for other departments within PLG Keeping all parties involved with the transition updated on its progress.
Required technical skills:
At least 2 years' experience in managing complex IS transition and integration projects within a large organization. Experience with ERP systems Solid knowledge of transition & change management methodology. Expertise in project management, as well as transition documentation, tools, and templates. Sound knowledge of change management principles and practices, with experience in managing resistance and driving adoption of new processes or systems. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation. Advanced Understanding of IT & IS technology concepts. Strong organizational and leadership skillsAdditional experience and/or skills :
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solution, deliverables-oriented and result based.Required education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, change management or a similar field.Required experience:
