Entreprise Architecture Lead, AXA DCP

In line with the AXA Group's Driving Progress 2023 strategy and ambition to develop an innovative solution to serve customers better, AXA's Management Committee recently announced a strategic initiative - Digital Commercial Platform (DCP) – aimed at transforming AXA's value proposition.

Through DCP, AXA will cater to existing and new clients and partners through a revised business model, transitioning from insurance protection to a blend of protection, prevention, and services, focusing on moving from loss prevention to loss prediction.

AXA DCP will leverage AXA's risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance service offerings for commercial clients.

The platform will also generate value by monetizing unique capabilities and services, aggregating insights from data sets with external partners, and nurturing end-customer relationships in sync with brokers.


Key Objectives of AXA DCP:

  • Enhance underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group
  • Establish a platform for risk management and prevention services
  • Develop an ecosystem of business partners

As Enterprise Architect of AXA DCP, you will align technology with the business strategy of AXA DCP. This role entails significant responsibility within the Technology Office of AXA DCP, interacting with various teams both within and outside AXA DCP, staying up-to-date with tech trends. You will be a visionary in IT, focusing on Cloud transformation and Data Systems at scale, while also providing high-level guidance as a generalist IT officer. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will oversee the implementation and synchronization of technology strategy across AXA entities.

As a crucial member of the technical team, you will play a pivotal role in driving AXA DCP's growth and success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define technology system architecture and functional design to support company business goals of AXA DCP
  • Create patterns and standards for project-level implementation
  • Assist in evaluating the business' mission and optimizing IT assets
  • Document processes using architectural models and practices such as TOGAF
  • Evaluate existing IT systems for vulnerabilities compromising performance or security
  • Implement shared infrastructure for information management systems
  • Offer a common business vocabulary, strategic requirements, and integrated designs aligned with DCP strategy
  • Lead the AXA DCP Architecture practice and Architecture Review Board
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in AXA Group and entities regarding the Enterprise Architect model of AXA DCP

Your Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Expertise in Enterprise Architecture in a Cloud environment
  • Proficiency in AWS or other relevant certifications
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Technical proficiency in programming languages and IT systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management standards
  • 12+ years of experience in user-facing software product design and technical management
