Your Opportunity:
Join us in financing the transition to a greener and more sustainable world As the Corporate Governance and Stewardship apprentice, you will contribute to defining and implementing AXA IM's stewardship strategy. This role plays a vital part in monitoring shareholder engagement activities, implementing corporate governance policies, engaging with companies, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate stewardship governance activities
- Support the implementation of corporate governance and voting policy
- Engage with companies and senior representatives
- Review and update corporate governance and voting policy
- Develop content for presentations and reports
- Contribute to sustainability-related efforts
The apprentice will be involved in voting activities during the AGM season, with workload adjustments during this period.
Your Profile:
Education/Qualifications
- Masters degree in finance, corporate law, or sustainability
Experiences
- Experience in corporate governance analysis and proxy voting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in responsible investment and ESG issues
Knowledge and Skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in advisory agencies or asset management firms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Language skills: Proficient in English, French would be a plus
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be advantageous
