Specifically, the Advanced Technologies - Ingredients department is responsible for developing innovative ingredients, providing expertise in various ingredient categories, and anticipating scientific and technological solutions through ecosystem promotion and development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical expertise and solutions for R&I projects
  • Develop analytical methods for all Danone players, in collaboration with standardization organizations
  • Build and lead a network of analytical and scientific experts
  • Identify and monitor laboratory performance
  • Provide analytical support to Operations teams

Within this framework, the main duty of the Analytical Chemistry Jr Scientist is to:

  • Develop and adapt analytical methods in Liquid Chromatography for project support
  • Ensure technical guidance in HPLC and technology transfer
  • Build a professional network and stay updated on emerging technologies
  • Monitor and stay informed about innovations in HPLC analysis
  • Utilize data efficiently and manage analysis equipment effectively

5. Skills Needed:

  • Master's degree in analytical chemistry or biochemistry (Bac +5)
  • Significant experience with analytical research, especially in Liquid Chromatography
  • Technical proficiency in extraction and separative techniques, chromatographies, and enzymatic assays
  • Good knowledge of food biochemistry and previous experience in the food industry
  • Fluency in English, French a plus
  • Reactivity, autonomy, curiosity, teamwork, and cross-functional communication skills
