OUR SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER

As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining cloud solutions and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.

You will design and deliver cloud platforms as services, automated API-driven systems with Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaC) principles and Agile delivery models.


SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain various aspects of infrastructure automation
Design, build and deliver scalable cloud solutions
Participate in functional and technical reviews / sprint reviews
Develop and maintain automation solutions, facilitating platform build-outs
Apply DevOps and Agile principles and practices
Design CI/CD pipelines to enable code releases to multiple environments
Assist and support junior engineers

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as fluent in English
Proven track of Engineering skillset
Significant hands-on experience on MS Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
Proven track record for continuously deploying software following Agile development practices
Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, when it comes to infrastructure maintenance – Infrastructure-as-a-Code, CI/CD pipelines, Version Control
Strong foundation in automating system administration tasks (Windows and/or Linux), Python scripting, backuping/restoring, upgrades and patching
A solid experience with some of the development products and automation tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Puppet, Visual Studio)

Partner with clients to understand their location-based needs and design solutions using the Google Maps Platform (GMP) suite of tools (Maps, Places, Directions, etc.).

Develop and implement high-quality, user-friendly map applications using various APIs and SDKs.
Integrate GMP with other technologies to create seamless user experiences.
Optimize map applications for performance and scalability.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the development lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Google Maps Platform and related technologies.
Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members to achieve project goals.

Designing and deploying cloud infrastructure,
Implementing, configuring and integrating a variety of cloud services,

Providing best practices on IT security,
Troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges.
Will be responsible for developing international applications;
Work on the backend and APIs of internal applications
Responsible for keeping the AWS environment running
As a Senior Tech Lead within Devoteam CMS, you will be part of a unit of highly skilled individuals.

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership while supporting systems and customers, automation in Terraform, implementation of the best practices for monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and load testing of cloud-native applications running on Google Cloud Platform.

You will also contribute to internal tools, processes and offering development.

You will have to develop a broad knowledge base of common cloud solutions, interact with customers and support your junior team members.

It's a customer-facing role, so you must be outgoing and confident in your ability to interact with clients, manage workshops and execute necessary training on your own.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for the following activities:
Work closely with data architects and other stakeholders to design scalable and robust data architectures that meet the organization's requirements
Develop and maintain data pipelines, which involve the extraction of data from various sources, data transformation to ensure quality and consistency, and loading the processed data into data warehouses or other storage systems
Responsible for managing data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring their performance, scalability, and security
Integrate data from different sources, such as databases, APIs, and external systems, to create unified and comprehensive datasets.
Perform data transformations and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to convert raw data into formats suitable for analysis and reporting
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to establish data quality standards and implement data governance practices
Optimise data processing and storage systems for performance and scalability
