Biomimicry AI Engineer


Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our innovative team and drive the development of AI-powered solutions that transform natures's knowledge into actionable insights for the industry. As a key contributor, you will be leveraging cutting-edge AI techniques to build and improve on Asteria's expertise on biomimicry data and methodology.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine AI models for various biomimicry applications, including:
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Extract and structure knowledge from biological texts and scientific papers.
  • Generative AI: Implement and automate business logic and biomimicry methodologies via LLM agents with human-in-the-loop
  • Conduct research to explore new AI techniques and their application to biomimicry.


What We're Looking For
  • Strong foundation in AI: Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP.
  • Biomimicry passion: A genuine interest in understanding and applying biological principles to engineering design.
  • Experience with: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and relevant AI libraries.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy scalable AI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency in French
  • Regular commuting to our Paris office
