C++ Developer
Summary of the Role

As a C++ Developer of Reservation, a key part of the Amadeus CRS (Central Reservation System), you will develop software in charge of processing a reservation during its entire life cycle. It is used to manage reservations (creation, modification, storage), and groups of reservations (negotiated prices for events).

You'll be part of an agile (SAFe) team with diverse cultural backgrounds spread over Nice, Bangalore, and London.

In this role you will:
  • Develop and maintain a reliable and adaptable architecture that can handle high volumes of data and transactions from various sources and channels, such as websites, mobile apps, call centers, and travel agencies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
  • Collaborate with other developers, testers, and team members to deliver high-quality software.
  • Identify and fix issues, and optimize code for performance and stability.
  • Write unit tests and documentation for your code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and test the system regularly, using tools and metrics, to identify and resolve any issues or anomalies.

About Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • Good Python expertise.
  • Conducting unit, package, and performance tests.
  • Database knowledge (Oracle, Couchbase).
  • Ability to write high-quality code in a complex application.
  • Experience working in a distributed agile environment with an international team.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English.
  • Cloud applications and architecture knowledge.
  • Azure, OpenShift, ArgoCD, Grafana.
  • Software workbench, Jenkins.
