Senior Energy Efficiency Country Expert

NTU is currently preparing a tender for the Framework Agreement (FWA) to support EU ENERGY EFFICIENCY FINANCING COALITION. The objective of the project is to provide technical assistance and financial/economic expertise to support the EC/CINEA in the development and management of the Coalition, which shall bring together public authorities and relevant stakeholders, including financial institutions and energy-efficiency related businesses, operating both at EU and national levels, and that can be used as a platform for dialogue, experience sharing, development of new
collaborative initiatives on energy efficiency financing, with a focus on achieving the EED
recast and EPBD recast ambitions.
Some of the Specific Objectives of the Coalition are:
- Steer the development of national energy efficiency markets addressing national barriers to unlock the set-up of appropriate financial instruments and/or support programmes combining public and private finance.
- Stimulate and foster the availability of expertise and financing to support the implementation of energy efficiency measures and investments.
- Provide comprehensive and integrated financing solutions, maximise the benefits of public funding, while leveraging private financing into energy efficiency.
We are looking for 10 Senior Country Experts to support NTU.
Requested profile:
Senior Energy Efficiency Country Expert (with international experience):
☝️ Qualifications and skills:
- Relevant economic, engineering, legal or technical education (university degree, post-graduate level)
☝️ Professional experience:
- At least 10 years’ experience working with energy efficiency investment programmes involving private finance, in the specific Member State they cover.
- Participation in at least 5 projects of at least € 100,000 related to energy efficiency, in the specific Member State they cover.
☝️ Language requirements:
- At least C1 level in English, in the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages, and C2 for the national language of the specific Member State they cover.
