Senior Automation and Electrical Engineer | France
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation and Electrical Engineer to join a global leader in mineral-based specialty solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of automation and electrical systems for a pioneering lithium plant.
Position Overview:
Location: France (initially Paris, followed by relocation to Beauvoir, Echassières)
Project: Lithium mining and processing (targeting 34,000 tons of lithium hydroxide annually by 2028)
✈️ Travel: Global travel to project sites and vendor locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation and electrical systems for the lithium plant
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with engineering teams and contractors
- Manage and review technical documentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in automation design and electrical systems within large-scale industrial projects
- Expertise in Siemens automation products and Industry 4.0 technology (preferred)
- Knowledge of European Codes and Norms, with experience in France being an advantage
- Strong project management and communication skills
