Surprise Paris is a daring French brand that thrives for excellence through curiosity, travels and pop culture. Guided by our European heritage, we like to infuse our collections with mixed influences, pushing forward our creativity and seamlessly capturing the current zeitgeist. We cherish team work and respect everyone’s contribution to fuel ourselves and the brand with good design. We are a small team of 7 and can’t wait to grow the style team to push further what we started.
As our head stylist, you will play a crucial role by:
- Creating compelling collections (Knitwear, Woven, Cut&Sewn), following the brand’s values and DNA
- Proposing new emerging trends, details and potential creative collaborations
- Managing all the design process from research stage to yarn/fabric selection
- Expressing your creative skills from drawings into production
- Creating technical specs for suppliers
- Organizing fittings, iterating on successive prototypes, up to SMS
- Doing constant research and competitive benchmark
You will be assisted by the merchandising & marketing team, and report directly to our founder & CEO.

You are willing to express yourself and develop your creative potential to manage the style department, that overseas all collections of the brand. You are a doer and problem solver that likes to innovate. You are flexible, energetic and positive that wants to work in a dynamic and trendy environment.
Specific knowledge and experience for the role:
- Strong ability and taste to stand-out creatively
- Good sketching skills, understanding of volumes, shapes, colors, fabrics and Yarn makers
- Understand technical specs and requirements from factories (Yarn counts, GG…)
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French
- Previous experience as a stylist in a similar role is a plus
