JOB DESCRIPTION
As a true team player, you will be responsible for procurement and supplier management, working
with all the company's departments. You will ensure product availability (80/20 perspective) and the proper allocation of volumes.
You will report directly to the site manager and functionally to the divisional purchasing manager.
The Junior Buyer :
- Has the responsibility of ERP system information and maintenance suppliers related
- Is responsible of the Finished parts, components and wire planning in coordination with Operations and Supply chain.
- Has the responsibility of regular (weekly or monthly) wire stock communication vs target, and delivery prioritization.
- Contributes to stock target calculation and volumes assignment to suppliers.
- Manages the ERP orders for Wire and raw Components, and has the responsibility to keep them updated in the system
- Works in close coordination with Supply Chain to guarantee the correct material flow
- Is the Unit referent for any type of Stockout problems, and is responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Is responsible for the level of service of the products purchased including external treatments and components
- Communicates and collaborates in solving supplier quality problems.
- Coordinates with other Purchasing department in the division for common suppliers’ management and new suppliers’ development
- Takes part in negotiation process contributing to data collection and negotiation strategy preparation, in coordination with Strategic Sourcing.
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
With a higher technical education (Bac+5), ideally in purchasing, you have a first successful experience in supplier relations in France and abroad.
You are fluent in English (daily practice).
You are familiar with office software and, if possible, with POWER BI.
You have good analytical skills, are able to make proposals and are a real problem-solver.
Humble, curious, collaborative and autonomous, you prioritize your actions according to the company's priorities (80-20 method).
