Brayton Global is currently looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to work for a prestigious client based in Paris, France (on-site work)
Job Description
- Update and amend the Policy framework according to the new Regulation Guidelines related to Risk Management, Governance and Control framework.
- Cybersecurity maturity Assessment.
- Risk management measures.
- Cybersecurity Plan and in addition
- (not related to the Regulation) Conduct security risk assessments on IT systems, applications, and products to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps. Recommend remediation measures based on risk assessment findings to improve the security posture of systems and products. Work with cross-functional teams to implement security controls that mitigate identified risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., GDPR, NIS Directive, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in risk management methodologies and frameworks, including enterprise risk management (ERM).
- Experience with conducting security risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong skills in developing, maintaining, and enforcing cybersecurity policies.
- Experience with GRC tools and techniques for monitoring compliance and risk.
- Ability to align security strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report to senior management and liaise with external organizations.
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex security compliance issues and incidents.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and recommend actionable security controls.
