Legal Counsel - Scale-Up Technology
A unique and newly created opportunity has emerged for a French-qualified lawyer with a strong background in technology and software law. Our client is a dynamic and innovative scale-up technology company that has strong financial backing from a joint venture of two well-known brands and is seeking an experienced legal professional to support its growth plans.
In this fully remote role, you will report directly to the Head of Legal and tackle a variety of complex legal matters. Key responsibilities will include structuring, reviewing, and negotiating high-value transactions, with a particular focus on technology and licensing agreements. You will play a leading role in client and customer negotiations, as well as handling professional services and software contracts. The role will be broad and continue to evolve as the company grows and the legal function expands.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A French legal qualification with at least 5 years of in-house experience.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proven expertise in technology and software contracting, with prior experience at a software company being a plus.
- Familiarity with intellectual property and data protection law will be beneficial.
This role is fully remote, with preference given to candidates based in France. It offers an exciting chance to join a company driving digital transformation and work on diverse, impactful legal projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
