As a Channel Manager at SER, you are responsible for winning, onboarding, maintaining, and expanding relations with channel partners within an assigned territory. The Channel Manager will be responsible for understanding the overall sales strategy and implementing the necessary tactics to grow sales revenue. The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to partners in order to achieve partner recruitment and sales objectives. We expect our Channel Manager's to be motivated and to execute with a high degree of autonomy, sharing information and knowledge early and often with colleagues. You will work closely with several cross-functional internal and external teams including Sales, Presales, Product, Marketing, Channel Management, Enablement, and others.


In this role, you will:


· Proactively recruit new qualifying partners

· Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts

· Drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners

· Earn the trust of our Partners and build in-depth relationships by having a complete understanding of their business goals and objectives

· Consult on our Partners’ SER business by investigating the root cause of blockers, outlining and selling Partners on the appropriate strategies to unblock inefficiencies and revenue

· Outline mutual success metrics/KPIs with our Partners that align with SER’s revenue/growth goals

· Maintain strong reference ability across your portfolio, ensuring SER and Partner Marketing teams have opportunities to work together and create joint case studies, etc.

· Managing the creation, recording and implementation of business plans with selected partner

· Support and ensure the execution of the partner marketing plans including the creation of co-branded collateral

· Support and drive the execution of joint events with partners including contributing to event collateral and content

· Cross-sell and up-sell based on an understanding of customer and business needs

· Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel


The knowledge you have to offer


· You have a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT Management or a comparable education

· You have several years of relevant professional experience in selling complex IT software solutions and can prove your sales success

· Ideally, you have experience in consulting with C-level customers in ECM solutions

· You have expert knowledge of the B2B buying process, know all your main competitors and closely follow industry trends

· You are willing to travel in the greater regions of your office location and throughout the country
