To strengthen its development, Yole Group is opening a Project Manager position for its Consulting Services Activity.


This activity is in charge of delivering customized studies among any topic in the semiconductor scope covered by Yole Group. Your main role will be to carry out the production of these studies in compliance with the specifications of our customers.


As a Project Manager you will have to ensure the production of technology, market, marketing and strategic analysis projects by yourself and also by coordinating other internal and/or external contributors. You will be responsible for the quality of the deliverables and will have multiple interactions with the business lines within the Research Operation Department focused on specific topics.


The position would ideally be based in our HQ in Lyon, France but remote work could be possible.


As Project Manager, your main tasks will be:

  • Perform & coordinate market, marketing, technical and strategic dedicated analyses following our customers requirements on different topics in microelectronics (supply chain understanding, technology trends, market evolutions…)
  • Develop knowledge through investigation desk research, interviews with various industrial players, networking, conferences attending
  • Build analyses on key topics of microelectronics industry and leading-edge innovations
  • Create & coordinate synthetic and efficient analysis materials enabling constructive exchanges and supporting your views during presentations to customers
  • Support & coordinate the internal teams involved during the projects
  • Execute projects within a given timeframe and budget and report to your manager
  • Create internal relationships and work in teams with the analysts of the different business lines
  • Contribute to the development of the consulting services activity (subcontractor network development, monitoring, participation in commercial discussions & pre-sales…).


PROFILE


What is mandatory

  • Master’s degree (University, Engineering school) or a PhD in semiconductors, microelectronics or a related field
  • Experience: From 3 to 10 years of experience in project management in the semiconductor field with strong interactions with external customers & internal teams
  • Awareness of the semiconductor industry and its ecosystem
  • Strong analytical skills and abilities to organize and present your findings
  • Capability to ensure customer’s expectations compliance
  • Excellent relational skills
  • Excellent English speaking/writing (minimum CECR - C1 / TOEIC 800)
  • Autonomy, proactivity, time management and commitment are necessary


What would be a plus

  • Experience in market analysis or strategy analysis
  • Experience in finance / due diligence / M&A projects
  • Proficiency in French (or German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin)
