We are seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's systems and data, implementing security measures, and responding to potential incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to develop, and maintain software applications.
Manage cross-functional internal and external team collaboration and communications. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's infrastructure.
• Product Development: Work on assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. Responsible for the appropriate security analysis, defenses, and countermeasures at each phase of the software development lifecycle, to result in robust and reliable software. Lead cybersecurity engineering tasks / project activities. Recommend, design, develop, plan, deploy, integrate, ano test enterprise level security applications and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls for new and existing systems.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze software designs and implementations from a security perspective and identify and resolve security issues. Provide cybersecurity support to develop and maintain a flexible security architecture; provide protection from unauthorized use of, or access to, the customer-managed network and networked assets; and protect all data residing on the network from intrusion, destruction, or compromise. Develop, implement, and manage the organization's cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Risk Management: Create and manage custom security implementations that could be used to patch security findings in multiple applications. Maintain and enhance processes around security findings reporting and application security implementations. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Master's degree in Cyber Security and/or related field and 1 years of experience in the job offered or in a Cybersecurity Engineer-related occupation. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices. Strong understanding of encryption, VPNs, firewalls, antivirus, and other security-related technologies. Good understanding of network protocols, technologies, and processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Time Management: Efficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and teamwork abilities.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation to achieve ambitious goals.
• Commitment: Dedication to the startup’s mission and vision, with a willingness to invest the time, energy, and commitment required to drive success.
This role is vital to support threat detection, mitigation, and remediation to maximize the security posture to minimize risk and prevent cyber-attacks. Must have experience with scripting languages Python, C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Javascript, reactJS and/or similar languages. Previous project experience in software development is a plus.
