Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Support Engineer to join the Adoption Team within our client's Customer Success division. This is a pivotal role, newly established as part of our client’s ongoing transformation efforts.
You will be instrumental in providing top-notch first-line product support, focusing on understanding customer goals and troubleshooting issues. In collaboration with the sales team, you’ll serve as a vital conduit between our client’s customers and the technical teams, including product development and professional services. This role primarily involves working with clients in the Automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer support via phone and email, adhering to our various support tiers (standard, premium, and business).
- Accurately document incidents, software issues, and enhancement requests.
- Engage with customers (existing base) alongside the sales team to boost software adoption, optimize usage, and enhance the perceived value of our offerings.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through organized and regular communication, ensuring high satisfaction and contract renewals.
- Provide technical support to assist customers in achieving their objectives during onboarding and adoption phases.
- Analyze customer data to pinpoint areas where targeted training could decrease support needs.
- Conduct training sessions from our extensive training catalog to maximize software usage and reduce the need for support.
- Anticipate customer needs and verify the functionality of tools before new product releases are rolled out.
- Support the sales team in account management and advocate for our full range of services by suggesting process improvements and innovative ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Finite Element Methods (FEM- FEA)
- Strong background in technical customer support.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving root causes of technical issues.
- Experience with CAE/CAD tools and a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
- Self-starter, collaborative, and adaptable.
Recruitment Process:
- 1st stage: Initial HR screening
- 2nd stage: Interview with the hiring manager (N+1 based in Paris)
- 3rd stage: Final interview with senior leadership (N+2)
Position Details:
- Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)
- Work Schedule: Hybrid model – 3 days remote, 2 days on-site

- Compensation: Competitive base salary + 10% performance bonus + comprehensive benefits
