Portfolio Manager AVP

Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of leveraged finance transactions, including loans and high-yield bonds, ensuring credit quality and compliance with risk policies.
- Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of large-cap corporate borrowers, assessing financial performance, market conditions, and sector trends to make informed recommendations.
- Transaction Monitoring: Regularly review portfolio exposures, track performance metrics, and manage any covenant compliance or restructuring scenarios.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, providing strategic insights and support on transactions and capital structure optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with origination, risk, and syndication teams to execute transactions and manage client relationships.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing updates on portfolio performance, risk assessment, and market trends.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Past experience in leveraged finance, credit analysis and/or portfolio management with a focus on large-cap corporates.
- Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial statements, cash flow models, and credit structures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Additional European languages are an asset.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
