Position Overview:

Join our team as a Principal Biologist, contributing to the evaluation of therapeutic targets, project flowchart development, and the identification of preclinical candidates. Engage in outsourcing and supervising biological studies, utilizing your expertise in biology and drug discovery. Be part of an impactful team that is changing the landscape of medicine discovery.


Responsibilities:

  1. Contribution to Portfolio Building: Collaborate with our automated knowledge graph to identify and assess innovative targets, contributing to the growth of our internal portfolio.
  2. Project Flowchart Development: Build project flowcharts for internal projects, incorporating relevant bioassays from hit generation to preclinical candidates.
  3. Project Leadership: Drive projects forward by monitoring, questioning results, and making recommendations to the Project team, ensuring alignment with our goals.
  4. Project Team Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Project team, mentoring ML scientists, challenging scientific results, and actively contributing to the discovery of new drugs.
  5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with external experts when necessary, fostering collaboration and ensuring the success of projects across diverse therapeutic areas.


Qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  2. Proven track record in drug discovery within pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
  3. Expertise in biochemistry, cell biology, and extensive experience in developing in vivo pharmacological assays, biochemical assays, and cellular assays in drug discovery projects.
  4. Knowledge of DMPK.
